What does it mean to be a man, at this present moment, with millions of millions come and gone before you, and countless yet to come?
What does it mean to be a man, in this age of mechanized power, of industrialization and of machines, where everything is automated and you’re there only to push the button?
What does it mean to be a man, with each one living an independent life, yet being so inevitably dependent on everything and everyone else?
What does it mean to be a man, when you’re an island and a parasite at the same time?
What does it mean to be a man, when you have no answers to any of the questions above?

It means responsibility.
It means power.
It means one needs others to give meaning to his existence.
It means evil is never dead. Just dormant.
It means the human kind is, in the end, quite stupid.

To be a man means find a woman, hit her on the head, take her to a cave and then you can use your imagination!
To be a man is to have the right amount of will to procrastinate so that you create the mechanized world of industrialization where everything is done at the push of a button.
To be a man is to create the grammar of a society that is so complicated that it gives you an impression that you're an individual but you still follow the rules of the grammar.
To be a man is to know that being an island is in itself a validation for being a parasite!
To be a man is to never know all the answers because if you do... somehow God will take a back seat in the drive of civilization!
